Would these be our markers of success if we lived more in community and less in capitalistic competition?

Judging by actual existing more-communal, less-capitalistic societies, it's something of a mixed bag.
However, so am I. Going by being able to get to sleep, I'd be one of the least-successful people ever; by books read, one of the most successful.
Capitalistic competition will bring this country down.
