We have the advantage of three drivers (although Hannah will not drive with Chris in the car), no little kids and this nifty new HP Mini to occupy my time.
As always, it has been a real pleasure to get together. The kids are all great kids. They get along well, are generally well behaved, the little kids love the attention of the big kids and the big kids love to give them their time and attention. We find out new things about each other and reminisce about our past. The time always passes too quickly and life will be back to its everyday routine by tomorrow...at least for most of us. My youngest sister's oldest girl--Amelia (9)--will be spending the week with my oldest sister in Oklahoma City. I'm sure that they will have a lot of fun!
Time to join the family for breakfast and farewells...

I had to go back to your previous post to figure out where you were coming home from. The last thing I remembered is that you were in a bar.
ReplyDeleteGoodbyes are always the hardest for me. I try to keep the fun times in mind, but oh how I miss the family.
ReplyDeleteCiao
I hate goodbyes with family too! Sounds like you had a fantastic time.
ReplyDeleteYou'll have to excuse Mike. He fell 14 feet backwards off the Habitat house he was helping to build Friday. Then yesterday he had to take me to the hospital for a cardiac cath. But we've both miraculously survived each of those things, praise God! I may have to eat less at Ted Drewes, however, now that I know my arteries are not clogged. No more fatalistic feasting! I'm all about good heart health as of my conversion experience!
