Some People to Avoid in 2017

I read an interesting piece a few days ago and have been saving it to share with you. We all have those people that we tend to avoid for one reason or another. I have found that retirement keeps me from too many toxic interactions with people, but there are some relationships that are unavoidable.

You may recognize some of these types of people that are mentioned in this article. And unfortunately, you may have a difficult time "avoiding them at all costs" as the article suggests.
You may work with (or for) someone like one or more of these types of people, or you may find that they are family members, neighbors, church members or others that make occasional contact unavoidable.

I apologize for the format of the article. It is one of those that requires you to view each type as its own page (a personal internet pet peeve).

The article is 10 Toxic People You Should Avoid At All Costs

Who are the people that surround you? And which of these types do you find the most destructive or most difficult to deal with?

For me, the most difficult to deal with is #6, the manipulator.
It is easy to point out the flaws with the arrogant, judgmental, gossip, etc., but how do you tell somebody that is being nice that you recognize that their niceness has a price that you are not willing to pay. Somehow, you risk being the bad guy because they can easily say that they just want to help or do nice things for you -- even when you don't want them to.
Maybe that's why you are just advised to avoid them!

In any case, good luck with identifying and avoiding these people in 2017!

I have always liked the quote...
“Great minds discuss ideas, average ones discuss events, and small minds discuss people.” – Eleanor Roosevelt
I'm not very good at gossip because I can never remember enough of it. But then gossips aren't into the truth are they.

Those are definitely ten types to avoid. And for people to reform from if they are like that.

Happy New Year, John!
